Tapping

Simply put, tapping (also known as EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique) on the meridian points in your body (identified by traditional Asian medicine) clears the energy in your body, reduces your stress hormones and puts you in a relaxed, more open frame of mind to receive positive messages and suggestions. While tapping, you repeat a reminder phrase that keep you focused on your issue. Tapping utilizes the body’s energy meridian points just like acupuncture.  You can stimulate these points by tapping on them with your fingertips. I recommend tapping on one or two of the major points (outside of hand/karate chop or collarbone/sore spot) while watching the videos. Although traditional EFT practitioners use statements while tapping, a round of tapping without saying anything at all will significantly reduce your stress level. If it helps, you can think about tapping as acupuncture without the needles, an emotional version of acupuncture or a relaxation technique that touches the major stress relief points on the body. When you first try it, you will find the tapping process odd. You will be skeptical and think that it can’t possibly work, that it is too simple to work and you are wasting your time. You may even feel ridiculous! There is a great deal of anecdotal evidence that tapping works. Most successful people talk openly about using a method of emotional release to remove the obstacles to their success. If tapping does not work for you, do some research and find another method of emotional clearing that works for you.

I recommend going to The Tapping Solution website  and downloading the free ebook Tapping Your Way To Health, Happiness and Abundance which contains clear instructions (with diagrams) on exactly how to tap.
